Oh I did so much shopping this week, and I discovered some cool shops (or shopping areas) as well.

#1 Shibuya Publishing and Booksellers: A shop which sells, produces and publishes books on art, fashion, design, architecture, culture as well as fiction and magazines. In addition to offering carefully selected books for sale, SPBS puts on exhibits of different brands from different fields on a monthly basis, and also holds talks and workshops on editing, photopgraphy, and design.

#2 Cibone Aoyama: This spacious basement store sells not only furniture and interior goods, but fashion, music, books, art… from Piet Hein Eek’s furniture of recycled material to organic products by Dr. Hauschka, items are selected with a free spirit and put together in a lively collage that makes a visit a lot of fun.

#3 Nakameguro: An area south of Ebisu, which accomodates heaps of stylish (and quite expensive) vintage shops, unique little restaurants and – what the? – lots and lots of hairdressers…

Fresh coffee sold out of the back of this car.
