Daikanyama is, along with Nakameguro, Harajuku and Aoyama, one of the hot spots of shopping for locals. Around the tiny station you’ll find a variety of fashionable designer boutiques and sidewalk restaurants.

Damien and I had lunch in one of those stylish sidewalk restaurants, called holy. For each 950 Yen we got a delicious miso, a burger with salad and Teriyaki sauce, as well as a hot and strong coffee. The restaurant had an amazing interior design, very minimal and concrety, and they played a variety of soul and funk songs which fitted the atmosphere. Very cool all in all. Have a look:
