Odaiba is a really strange place. As a completely manmade island in Tokyo Bay it accomodates a really cool, fully automatic monorail, beaches with a fake statue of liberty as well as a non-red but white Golden Gate Bridge, several architecural sights (Tokyo Big Sight, Fuji Television Headquarters), but all in all it’s very quiet and very ghost town-like. I like it a lot though, because of its strange atmosphere. And it’s a good example what Tokyo is actually able to do. By the way, did you that not a meter of natural shoreline remains in Tokyo? Every beach you visit is just artificial. Amazing.
